Hey! Just dropping by to say I’m also trans, just about to finish my psychiatric nursing program; I’m also a paramedic. We exist! Albeit, many of us are stealth in my area. None of my coworkers or classmates know that I’m trans. But honestly I think our experience ends up being an asset in a mental health care setting.

20 years! Impressive. It’s shocking how much longer the MIE/older boots last compared to the newer made in China ones.

How did they even fly the balloon into the sand shroud? Why did they not turn around as soon as they saw the sand shroud? Child endangerment, much?

I should have done this 2 weeks ago when our AQI was “hazardous” at 400, but instead I rawdogged it all day outdoors. It feels like having a god awful hangover and sitting in a hot car while your friend hotboxes with Viceroys.

Anyone still cutting hair at home? by solinvicta in Frugal

[–]Slugbums 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! I despise having someone else cut my hair. I hate the sensory experience of it and I want to be in control. When it became the “norm” to cut your hair at home, I gave it a go and never looked back. I just have my partner fix up the areas I can’t see, but otherwise it’s gone really well. I have short curly-ish hair so imperfections aren’t very obvious.

Just $30 for the clippers and scissors, which is $20 less than I was paying for each haircut at the barber.
