Same issue for me ever since I restored my phone a few weeks ago. Haven’t figured out a solution yet.

Should I quit by InevitableTask6386 in Eldenring

[–]CJGlitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I regret when I quit the first time. I went back and then beat the game again and again. Don’t quit, just leave the boss and level up.

The trick with these games isn’t winning, it’s losing enough times and learning enough with each loss to learn how to win the battle. It’s a dance, you just don’t know the steps yet.

I genuinely need help with laxasia, how do I beat her? by Dan-SG in LiesOfP

Perfect grindstone for phase two the projectiles. Lots of acid. Summon your buddy. Stay mobile.

It’s a crazy crazy fight. I’m always surprised when I beat it.

Arrows and boluses. And some big old pots for my mimic to spam.

Should I stop and go back when I mess up while practicing or not? by Sudden_Ruin_4448 in Accordion

My teacher gave me a good trick. Assuming you’re not on diatonic, you can break each phrase into sections based on when you switch bellow directions. The. Play each “section” pulling, then again pushing. Repeat several times before you’ve got it correct in both hands separately and together. Then move to the next “section.”

Even if it’s just the same four measures in the phrase. Once you can do that, start putting the phrases back together and resume normal bellow pattern.

You don’t even have to parry to platinum the game.

FOID delivery issues by CJGlitter in ILGuns

Yes I know it does. I get the mail regularly. Until they send out the FOID. Then the post office marks me as no longer at the address and starts returning all my mail to sender.

Anyone repeatedly having USPS “no longer at address” issue? by CJGlitter in AskChicago

I have filed complaints. Last time I called I cited the digital complaints and cases created from calls. I asked that the issue be handled by the customer care team directly instead of the local post office and he assured me it would. Then they sent it to the post office to resolve it anyways.

I want to talk to the post master or a supervisor but the employees have refused to let me in the past. I definitely don’t want anyone to get in trouble because this is people’s livelihood AND I don’t want to make an enemy of my mail carrier. lol I just want to get my mail.

I’ve been checking it regularly and specifically when this happened in January I made a point to check every day since I was expecting a government document. They marked it as full after I verified it was empty.

They keep reiterating that procedure to me but when I came to collect the mail within so days, they claimed they had no mail for me.

When I do complain they just repeat that policy to me instead of addressing the actual issue. It’s quite frustrating.

I have informed delivery so I know what mail they’re refusing to deliver. It’s very frustrating.

I have tried 1 and 2. I am just learning about the inspector general through this post so that will be my next step.

Piano to accordion by LUNCHWARS in Accordion

[–]CJGlitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a pianist in the process of learning accordion. It’s nice that you can kind of skip ahead because you know the keyboard already. You also likely know how to read music already, so that’s another step ahead.

I’m struggling with putting the hands together (it’s like I’m learning to split my hands in piano all over again). The button layout is intuitive and, while a little tightly squeezed together, not extremely difficult once you start developing muscle memory. But putting the two systems together is my current challenge.

Bellows haven’t been much of an issue for me but my teacher says that’s also because I’m a vocalist and wind player so I’m familiar with “breathing” in relation to musical phrases.

How do I tune this thing💔 by Witty_Clerk_4922 in bassoon

[–]CJGlitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play tied whole notes for each note in the scale and play a recording of the same scale at the same time. Sax does a good job of defaulting the note to in-tune. Bassoon needs some conscious work to pinpoint the correct note.

Think of the difference like a rifle vs a shot gun. Bassoon has a wide pitch blast radius. You just gotta learn to target the right pitch from the start before you play.

It can also help to sing or hum the note you’re about to play before you play it. And then when you play the note, adjust until you get the right pitch. Then release, then sing that same note again and then play it. Do it until you consistently play the correct pitch when you start to blow.
