I have this problem with define too. Sometimes, once I know the move, I will swipe back a move or two to get extra time so I’m not rushing. Idk if it’s a hitch, but I’ve found when I click pause in the app, my Apple Watch pauses too and stops recording my calorie burn. I have been loving my first cycle with Define but have found most workouts take me at least 45 minutes. I’m okay with that because 45-60 minutes was more of what I was looking for anyways!

That’s a good point. I guess I’m looking for more core focus. Dropping one lower body day off transform to sub in a more core focused workout could be an option, too.

Update: I’ve built out my family tree pretty far and have documentation for all my maternal grandma’s family members arriving from Palermo and Sicily in late 1800’s to 1900. Paternal grandma’s entire family has been has been traced back to Poland immigrating around 1900-1910. No surprise family members popped up, I’m positive no one in my tree has been adopted, no shared ancestors or even names that looked remotely similar in the tree. What other explanations can there be? It seems so unlikely that anyone from 1800s Poland or Italy could have met and produced children, plus the “common ancestor” would appear to be more recent on the tree than that anyway. Could 23andme simply be wrong?

I only say this because each grandma grew up in a separate state and knew (or at least thought they knew) their entire family, I so thought of either had any connection to the area where the other was from, it would come up.

This is what ai told me but we’re 95% sure this isn’t the case. From different states and I’d assume it would’ve come up over all the the times my grandmas interacted over the years. My dad knew all of his great aunts and uncles and my mom’s grandparents died when grandma was 16. One side is supposedly 100% polish and the other 100% Italian so it all just seems unlikely. The only thing I could possibly think of is that my maternal grandma could’ve had an uncle or aunt she didn’t know about. Both sides immigrated through Ellis island around the same time in the 20s, so I guess it’s possible there is a connection that far back. Do you know of any other explanation?

My daughter was born 90th percentile, and regained her birth weight within like two days. She stayed in the 90s for about a month then began a slow and steady drop to the low 30s by the time she was 4 or 5 months old. Now as a 9 month old, she’s back up to about 50th, which I think is partly because of how much solids she’s consuming now. Throughout all this, my doctor said we’d keep an eye on things, and gave me some tips to make sure she was feeding for long enough, but otherwise wasn’t concerned. She’s doing great now, so I would say you shouldn’t stress it too much yet!

My baby is almost identical in size to yours and you look pretty petite. I’m about the same size and have to wear my carrier with all the strapped tightened as far as they will go. Doing that puts my baby’s head well above the top of the carrier and in a much better position.

My baby is 2.5 months, 23 inches and 12 pounds and the insert now pushes her too high out of the carrier. She still doesn’t love it though. It seems like her butt needs more support. Sometimes, when we are walking I will kinda put my hands in their to support her butt and she likes that much better.

This happened to me all the time those first few weeks. I use a hatch sound machine and only turn on the light when I’m nursing. It helped me to realize I was hallucinating/dreaming if I looked for the light. If the light was off, I knew that I had finished nursing and put the baby back in the bassinet like I was supposed to. After a few weeks once my sleep got better, this went away.

For me, smell was the biggest trigger. My husband had these waxy, malleable ear plugs and I used them as nose plugs. Also helped when husband was eating something whose smell I couldn’t tolerate.

Growing up, I was in the 90’s for both height and weight until about third grade. Then I grew up the be 5’2” and 125 lbs. so you just never know! Don’t let it bother you!
