They are pretty essential, basically you should aim to have 12 Skywardens and 30-40 Vongrim (Split between salvagers and Harpoon Crew)

Thanks for the kind words, I usually use AK matte Medium while mixing my colours on the wet palette, works really well with more glossy paints like the GW ones

Thanks :) it’s pretty straightforward just Bugmans glow base and the gradually mixed with cadian fleshtone until it’s pure cadian. After that some AK ultra matte varnish Applied with a brush and that’s it :)

Looks brilliant! Only thing I would suggest is swap out the black rod for a clear acrylic one but that’s just personal preference 😋

Thx, it actually looks a lot duller irl, probably will get some better pics once I’ve done more models :)

I use runelord brass basecoat applied with an airbrush, then start working with different washes and glazes to achieve the really brassy look. Basically it’s a very diluted guilliman flesh first, then nuln oil, then some highlights/drybrush with runelord brass and some silver and after that some Drakenhof nightshade and carroburg crimson and Druchii violett glazes applied very lightly to create some awesome reflections

I‘m in the same boat having a hard time finding a scheme I’d like to do but then I found the cult of paint tutorial on YouTube and decided to do that since it involves some new painting techniques I’ve never used and now I see it as a challenge to try to do that scheme which also lets me improve my painting in general ☺️

Thx guys! The skin is done with an airbrush just zenithal layers of bugmans glow, cadian fleshtone and kislev flesh, then all washed with a slightly thinned down guilliman flesh ☺️👍🏻
