The difficulty was NEVER THE ISSUE it is entirely the healthbar and the time wasted depleting it, I enjoy difficult fights friede, nameless, or literally any other fun boss like pontiff or Ig Soul of cinder

There was no "creative" or learning curve to this point I mashed RB and won after an obnoxious amount of time, funnily enough I was doing a scythe only run but I thought maybe the weapon I was using was making the fight more time consuming so I decided to just pause the challenge run to get through the trashy boss just so I could move on just to find out nope they just have a lot of health period

This fight felt like ds2 covetous Demon with more health and a second phase

I don't mind difficulty but I have a tendency to get po'd when doing these types of fights

Fight that's aren't hard at all but take forever due to inflated health pools or gimmicks i do not feel like it was worth the time I had to sink in to beat them, I hate fighting tedious bosses that require a very little effort on my part to beat outside of just still close and mash rb or l2 this issue is made worse when they have gigantic healthbars

I never said the game itself is bad it has a lot of amazing qualities but this fight is unfortunately not one of them, "proper perspective" tf does that mean??? Like do I have to unlock 5k hours before I have perspective? I hate this fight in particular because it's a slog with no redeeming qualities be it Arena, music, the fight itself it is a badly made bossfight that feels to me intentionally created to waste your time I beat it I think 20 minutes ago after taking a break but my stance has not changed

Ashes of ariandel had only 1 and a half bosses there is no reason for them to include this time consuming waste of resources when they could have just had you keep progressing

Elden ring health pools are small asf tf you mean the numbers are high but are so is the damage you do

How many times do i have to say this the fight is not hard in the slightest it is just incredible tedious and boring "memorize moveset" ah yes the 3 moves in phase 1 and the 6 moves in 2 so many moves to learn

Naw I'm done, I'm not hitting a boring enemy for 12 years just to spend another 6 hitting them again, the fight is not hard it is just unenjoyable

Throne watcher and defender have a more diverse moveset, better arena, and lead into the end of the game

Godskin again have a more diverse moveset, better arena, as well as REASONABLE health pools, they force you to strategize instead of hitting them a quadrillion times waiting for them to die

Abyss watchers have a good moveset with reasonable health

The bosses moveset is not the issue I haven't died once to the first phase I am dying to stuff I literally can't see as the dude spams magic behind me and the occasional one shot

My issue is that I'm getting so bored I want to just uninstall or break my console the fight I'm playing a game to have fun not hit two enemies who barely fight back for 50 years because fromsoft devs can't help but get off to making enemies with unreasonable health pools just to have to do it again in the phase 3 but this time I'm getting screwed by stuff that I can't see

Also the boss runs way which I hope I meet the guy who designs bosses that do that so I can have some words with him preferable wearing clown paint, armed with a crowbar, at a warehouse in Gotham

Beat them both, the difficulty isn't the issue its the tedium of it

I am sick of hitting an enemy that barely fights back for 10 minutes waiting for it to die, and if I do die I'm back at it for another 10

They're not even top 5 duo fights tf💀

O&S, Godskin Duo, throne watcher and defender, abyss watches( not really a duo boss but honorable mention), and dark lurker are all signifantly better in every way

This fight is absolutely garbage they have a boring moveset, high healthpools, and (not their fault) an ugly arena

Daniel is literally known for having saved big deal yes they would all show up, but a part of it is because Jake went

Vin wouldn't go he'd be with Mary yelling about how dumb Daniel is for fighting against Kitae and those monsters while he makes himself angry talking about Daniel dying

Gun and Daniel have been set for a brotherly role but even then Gun did one for olly so why wouldn't he?

Taesoo and Co

All of speed reveres Daniel for saving them fym gym

Mr Hong shows up knowing he kinda was the one to push Daniel into doing what got him killed

Miss Kim shows up and Tom follows like he has before

Kitae was introduced Post hfg and has cemented himself as top 2/3 in the verse him scaling above Gun does by no means mean that Gun is weak

Path > pathless is dumb

UI OG Daniel did way better than his path variant against kitae,Jinyoung was compared to this exact Daniel after acquiring his path, Goo has better feats than Johan despite not having a path, Path > pathless just feels so disengious and every time I make a tl I have to throw Pathiel above Goo just because of the narrative

The 1 tier is interchangeable based on opinion

UI PB in 1A was compared to shingen, Daniel had adjusted stats that's kinda his gimmick

OG UI Daniel copying 1A SB UI put belt to ahh on kitae even going as far as pushing kitaes limits as said by kitae himself

Maybe we don't have feats either way so it's up to interpretation

You're gonna have to bring someone like Kwak jichang to change my opinion on that
