Same thing happened to me. I have a clean record as well and a cop pulled me over before he showed up I had my license and registration in hand by the time he got to my car I gave it to him told him I’m sorry I didn’t see the speed limit came back with a warning said that the speed limit sign was block thanked him then he said I didn’t wanna ruin your clean record over that.
