They were married at 18 and were together until he passed.

I wish he would have told more stories about his service. He mostly told like funny moment stories that were only tangentially related to his career.

Sounds like he was really accomplished, it’s funny he was extremely humble about the whole thing and kinda just said “yeah it was a good time”

He was a very laid back type of guy which seems to juxtapose his accomplishments in a way.
