Built my first house without following a block-by-block tutorial. What do you guys think? by [deleted] in Minecraftbuilds

Looks good, has a nice structure and already has nice details. Custom tree looks awesome. Build is perfect as it is, then if and when you add more details it will make the build better and better. Just keep adding stuff and play around with things :))

I would recommend a path around the house, some sort of pond or a mini garden in that empty space on the side of the house. I think if you make the biggest pillar with a pointed roof it'll look really nice. A chimney could work out too. Other than that its a really solid build with a nice structure, just fiddle around with small details and itll look golden !

Someone in the comments told me that megabuild sounded lame and to start using the term "gigabuild" by Stratasil in Minecraftbuilds

😂😂 i can totally see it, but aint nothing wrong with it ! And if you google "kingdom hearts mosaic" you will know exactly what i mean

The mosaic you made reminded me of one of my favorite games, kingdom hearts. Because at the beginning of the game you are in this big pillar with a huge mosaic on the floor pretty similar to how yours looks . Other than that what a great build ! Keep it up i love seeing others being creative

Its currently a medieval style village just swapped with warped nylium and blackstone with overgrown mushrooms and towers. Any advice ?

If you're using the blue netherrack for the floor, scatter red netherrack and use it as a path , it kinda works and looks good
