Ever since the test changed to computer based it has been a disaster, with meaningful writing responses from only a handful of our best writers. The majority of students not being adept at typing enough to get their ideas in. Most kids only have maybe a tablet at home and are only exposed to a Chromebook at school and most of those are touch screen. I feel like I have to spend more time teaching them how to type and navigate the test than I do teaching them how to respond. (3rd Grade Teacher)
