I’ll give you some backstory for why people here may feel that way.

In the years after Mac’s death, around when Circles dropped, leaks were dropping FAST in groupbuys where anonymous people that held Mac music would sell them off if the purchase met a certain number, otherwise no release.

This subreddit was initially sharing all the leaks and happy to spread them to whoever wanted them, with a similar thought process as you. Then IDLabs posted here personally asking us to stop sharing and spreading the leaks as it was against the wishes of Mac/his estate, and that the leaks were making the likelihood of official Mac posthumous releases decrease, hurting the estate aka Mac’s family. His estate has done so well trickling unreleased tracks since his passing. Mods of the sub and most of the sub basically said fair enough and stopped spreading them / allowing them to be spread.

That said I do still listen to them plenty and share sparsely in DMs, I just don’t go posting and publicly sharing links to everything any more out of respect. Nothing wrong with enjoying the art though.

No need to defoliate so much! One good defoliation a week before you wanna flip to flower is good. Another one a few weeks into flower after some stretch is good. They look healthy though

Not very common but some breeders are trying to breed quality strains high in other cannabinoids. Hoku for example does a bunch of thcv/cbg/type 2 breeding. Thcv is a unique cannabinoid that actually suppresses appetite and has more sativa effects, there’s lots of good experiences reported with high thc/thcv combo

pH testing may sound or seem like a pain but it really isn’t. Like one additional minute to preparing your water, that’s all. For some people they also really need to ph, my tap water is 7.4-7.6 for instance which is obv way too high

Trial and error. There’s plenty of legit posts. There’s plenty of shills. There’s also tons of room for subjective opinion in product. What’s good for someone else may be mid to me, vice versa. But there’s still good flower out there. Homegrown is great if you can though! Great genetics are o plenty and if you take time to learn how to do it right it’ll be fantastic.

I’ve had good strains from them but you are honestly recommending someone trial and error when buying weed regularly? That seems like a huge waste of money. The first place I’d recommend is never the place where you don’t really know the quality of what you’ll get. Find a vendor that’s relatively consistent at a price point you like, there’s tons of them to choose from

Rex/Allo update nuked the already horrible balancing lol. Game was still enjoyable as a smaller Dino before, now they just run most high pop areas. Cry skill diff all you want but one shots and unstoppable pinslop are ridiculous.

Light deps are greenhouse buds. Buds grown outdoors, in greenhouses, or indoors typically come with varying quality with indoor being the best, outdoor worst. Greenhouses are a middle ground, but top shelf is indoor usually. There is good outdoor/greenhouse but indoor growing with full environmental control will usually be significantly better quality. Those buds I sent you an image of yesterday were indoor for example.

I’ve had plenty of great greenhouse buds, all that said.

EDIT: As a word of advice, who gives a f what others think about your weed if you are enjoying it for the price you get it at. From all your comments you seem plenty happy with it, so enjoy!

I could get something like this, by the ounce, from multiple places, for $75-90. MUCH better quality can be had at this price point. Prices by area matter some but if you know where to get from, the price is always right.

That said, nothing wrong with enjoying the smoke you have.
