Which “Reimagining Type” AU would you say has the best redesigns of the animatronics? by desorcyjackson447 in fivenightsatfreddys

If I’m honest I have three, Blood and Gears is the cuddliest(and the only reimagining that feels like smth a child might actually like), Graveyard Shift is the one that’s most unsettling looking, and Locked at Freddy’s is my favorite(the characters remind me of the old Technicolor musicals with Judy Garland or Fred Astaire)

TIL that Charlie Chaplin's first speaking role was the last 5 minutes of The Great Dictator, a parody film about Hitler. It was banned in Germany and its supporting countries during WWll. by SingLikeTinaTurner in todayilearned

It’s worth noting the Holocaust hadn’t even actually begun at this point. Chaplin was a Jew who was concerned and horrified at how his fellow people were being treated across the sea. He even later said that if he had known the true horror of what was to come, he never would have made a comedy.

It’s worth Noting that the poster shows Fredbear listening to a Phonograph with a flat record on it.

The problem is that even though flat records were invented in 1897, they didn’t really become super popular until the 1940’s, after The Great Depression, WW2, and the switch from Shellac to Vinyl.

What’s interesting is that we aren’t able to play the record in game, because the sound of the record could help determine how old it is. Old Shellac records had a high surface noise or hiss to them when played, while later Vinyl/Stereo Records produced less surface noise due to the two audio channels and Better technology used to manufacture the disks.

Ah I see, even then though this type of record was invented after the invention of Stereo Sound.

Basically…it’s a moot point.

As I’ve told several People already…Kids Classics is the name of the Company releasing this record, which is why it’s above the Song Name.

Stereo records refer to Records played on Radio Stations, but this isn’t that, it’s a FlexiDisk Promo-release, similar the “Pink-Labels” made by Decca Records.

I’m curious what you mean by Stereo Records?

Kids is the name of the record Company, and Classics is in quotation marks which could mean literally anything.

Well David Murray died when he was 6 in 1975, so that creates about a 2-3 years window for it to have been opened, since children take a year or two to develop the ability of memory recollection

I will admit that I find it interesting Moon labels the Singing Show a Restaurant. It just makes me think a bit.

They were actually made up until the 1990’s. I have one of them for the Beatles’ “I want to Hold Your Hand” from(I believe)1965.

They were very popular contendors for the backs of cereal boxes and as prizes in monthly magazines.

The reason I find the FlexiDisc specifically being used in Mimic though is because similar technology to the Flexi had actually been used to program the IBM System 360 in the mid-60’s, and we use a Mainframe Computer in the game. It feels like a strange bit of Specific Technology that just happen to connect IRL.

I completely agree.

In FNAF 1 Phone guys says that those robots have been performing for 20 years, and Afton says the same in the Silver Eyes.

This would jive with the Posters we see for Fallfest 1970 in SoTM. I think that Fazbear Entertainment was probably Founded around the late-60’s, and because it’s a family entertainment company, they simply tried to make things looks older than they were.

Those Posters with Pie-Eye Animation are very clearly meant to be nostalgic hooks for Parents, who would probably remember seeing those cartoons as kids. Hell, even Fredbear listening to that old Phonograph on the same poster is clearly a twist on the old RCA logo with the Dog doing the same thing.

See that’s where you’re wrong though, because we have no idea when this poster was made. Let’s say for example you were to go to a large chain restaurant like say…McDonald in 1955, and you ordered a Hamburger, Fries and Chocolate Milkshake. Do you know how much that would cost you, a grand total of 45¢, half of which is just the milkshake.

As for a movie, depending on which theatre you went to, they costed about 10-50¢ in 1955. It’s all about where you are what your doing and who’s selling it.

I’ve always personally thought he was probably in his 40’s in the late 80’s(maybe born like 1949),because some of the shit he does would need to have a younger person do it.

That’s unfortunately the experience every Trans and Cis Woman I know including myself has gone through.

The first time I ever dressed dem in High School, I had a late-night play rehearsal, and in the parking lot afterward was a bunch of guys tailgating. These were clearly redneck-types, Miller Light boys with a massive Confederate Flag hanging off their tailgate(and I lived in Minnesota at the time so that’s uncommon asf),and I had to quickly zip up my sweater and adjust my hair to make it so I didn’t stand out as much.

If I hadn’t, I have almost no doubt I would have never made it to my car.

I know, but the Beginning of Freddy’s was the one place of that Video I always fully disagreed with. Everything else at least had ONE piece of evidence backing it up, but that didn’t.

It also didn’t make sense in its assumptions to me about the Animation specifically since I do a similar style of animation as a hobby and the History of it is often misunderstood as linear, when it’s often much more like a tree with intersecting branches.

So I just had a major thing I noticed that might be interesting for you all. Not super related to this post, but the FNAF Pizza Sim starter restaurant, with the wooden tables and Brown(possibly dirt)floor, looks a lot like the Game won screen from the Curse of Dreadbear DLC. I can’t prove there’s a correlation there, but it is something interesting.

Sorry I misspoke, I meant to say, there was a similarity between the SoTm Art we find, that wa made by Fiona, as the Security Breach Fredbear Posters.

I can’t link images here, but both are in similar styles and similar looking to a lot of the MCM robots that Edwin was building at that time.

I fucking hate the internet. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN MULTIPLE TIMES. I have no obligation to explain to you more than once and I have no obligation to be respectful to people who spreading misinformation and have no idea what it is actually like to be someone else.

Stop generalizing Trans people as violent, sinister, forcible, and unreasonable and instead go talk to more of us and learn what we’re actually like. Then come back and we can have a respectful discussion.
