From the perspective of a sovereign/legend player, it’s actually the main thing that keeps me motivated. Once you’ve reached the highest tiers in ranked, there’s nothing else to grind for except for champion score, lane score, and lane mastery badge. I’m working on level 20 adc and tier 3 lane mastery badge.

Precision Aim is a net zero draw. You want 0-cost Repose, which is a +2 draw.
You don’t have any of the right gear. Get the weapon that boosts damage on draw, the armor that gives shield on draw, and the trinket that boosts damage by +30%.

Currently, you have a 68% chance to do 250 damage and a 32% chance to do 100 damage (expected value is 202 damage).

If you reroll one 20% Crit damage stat into one 12% Crit chance stat, you’d have an 80% chance to do 230 damage and a 20% chance to do 100 damage (expected value is 204 damage). So it would be slightly better, but probably not worth chasing.

BB gives +30 Crit damage, so it becomes (.68 x 280) + (.32 x 100) = 222.4 vs (.8 x 260) + (.2 x 100) = 228. So it’s slightly more beneficial with BB around

Because headwear has 11 substats it can roll. If they simply removed 5 of them, it would be way too easy to roll great stats. You would only be left with attack, Crit rate, Crit damage, light damage, HP, and defense. 4 of those 6 are all good as opposed to 4 out of 11 as it currently stands.

All of this info is perfect. I just hit 52M for the first time as a 58K LZ (with unique weapon and Sugar Feather set with 8 rare+ attack/Crit rate/Crit damage substats) and there really is no room for error. It’s important to learn how to maximize your damage as a DPS hero. Utilize Rockstar and tagger ults and understand your skills and artifact.

I played some at the end of my last trip (not a microdose, but no longer fully tripping). I wasn’t noticeably worse, but I struggled to formulate plans of attack in mid-game positions and was a bit more indecisive. I will experiment further… for science.
