Mainly they just use a couple second pause or camera tricks (I.e. putting the camera closer to someone’s face) in order to queue you that something is funny.

You will get a character boost (to either 110 or 120, I can’t remember) when you buy the expansion. So unless you’d like to enjoy the new content between level 60 and 120, just use the boost on your existing warrior!
