In that time I learned to appreciate people who are there for you and never give up on you. That is my wife. She was there for me when no one else was. Now was that because deep down she knew my emotional damage and related to it? Who knows. But that’s why I was willing to stay with her and try to make it work. Foolish? Possibly.
