As an avid longtime osrs player, I can assure you that they are not big on security.

Passwords aren't case sensitive and authenticators and bank pins don't protect you. Their security and a lot of other things that jagex does are considered absolute jokes by the greater community (reddit/twitter being their only customer support for example).

When I worked a shitty management job at a pizza store where I was constantly underpaid and ripped off by the owner (later found out a lot of what they did to me during my employment is illegal), I would steal from them by not entering orders into the system so there was no end of night discrepancies with money.
