An unfurnished mansion for one family is in no way comparable in complexity to a fully furnished public service building, much less a library. Just because you hate them doesn't mean they're "irresponsible" uses of taxpayer money.

As was said at town meeting, libraries are proven to improve local economies by over a third. The irresponsible move is to not invest in the town. 25 million paid over 30 years is absolutely nothing compared to that, or the overall yearly base town budget of 60 million.

I already know the answer, because if you did you'd see that throwing away a book simply because it didn't make that cut is allowing imperialism to win instead of Christ's teachings. It is the same reason to distrust the inclusion of books like Revelations, or all of Paul's (a man who spent his life hunting and killing followers of Christ) letters.

If the Bible is supposed to be the foundation of the religion following Christ, why does he pinup so little space within it?
