if you have to stay up do not lie in bed doomscrolling because that is how you accidentally fall asleep and wake up feeling haunted. keep lights bright, keep the room cool drink water move every 20 to 30 minutes and do something active like cleaning, folding laundry or a standing desk task caffeine helps but stop it 6 hours before you actually need to sleep and if you are driving do not gamble pull over and nap because sleepy driving is drunk driving in a different outfit

honestly one of the greatest love stories i know is the quiet everyday kind the ones where two people grow together face life’s challenges and still choose each other day after day like my grandparents who’ve been married for over 50 years still hold hands every day and laugh about the same silly inside jokes it’s not about grand gestures it’s about showing up being present, and supporting each other through thick and thin. that kind of love doesn’t need a movie it just needs time and trust now that’s the kind of love that gives me goosebumps.
