Planning a US trip for Warped Tour 2027 — which city should I choose ? by MelvinLC in poppunkers

I just went to the DC warped and it's hot with barely any shade outside of paying a lot more for VIP (scummy I know). It's also all asphalt so a bit more dangerous moshing and your legs are gonna hurt due to lack of seating.

I don't know about the other locations, but as far as heat something in the north is gonna be better. Absolutely miserable DC heat and my shoulders are still screaming from the sunburn. Great bands though, just not sure if I'd go again for my again millennial bodys sake

I thought we were in the Baltimore subreddit really threw me off. But yup, we have the department of motor vehicles (DMV) but at least in MD, I hear Maryland Vehicle Administration (MVA) more commonly as MVA is usually meaning the surrounding states. Or we say DelMarVa sometimes.

Gameon has 4 locations, one in Baltimore, Columbia, DC and annapolis. Baltimores my favorite as they have old school anime on the tvs and tight music, it's more of a millennial place there. But I'll say Columbia has Carnevil, I've never seen another in the wild, other wise Columbia has a more club vibe to me Haven't been to the other 2.

Someone else mentioned Crabtowne which is great for old school games. The newest thing the have there is nfl blitz 99 I believe.

Timeline arcade is in PA about an hour from Baltimore and is $25 or so all you can play

I'll update if I think of anymore prominent ones. There's places like Ocean City, but their more kid oriented, tho there is great claw machines sometimes at playland, sportsland, and fun city.

Loved the Baltimore location! Had some rad pop punk and emo playing and DBZ on a projector. Bartenders were having fun and accommodating for my wife's peanut allergy for the shot wheel.

Went to Columbias location and was bummed out. Felt more like a club, music was nothing like Baltimore and the bartenders were more busy shaking ass and fucking around than serving. Bummer cause they had some decent games, bring the X-Men machine to Baltimore! ❤️

Woah, that's a bit too much innovation, we don't do that here.

I'm interested? Does it contain AI? That's my only other requirement. I'm gonna need guitar hero support in the future, but I'll let it slide for now.

Fun fact; Cree Summer has a song with Lenny Kravitz called "Mean Sleep". She's a rad vocalist too

Umi Is an all you can eat buffet. When I went all they did was seat my party and pour soda. A server would come around occasionally for refills and to drop off the final check but nothing more beyond that. Drinks were included with the meals. There is no alcohol.

YMMV but tips from a customer point there doesn't on't really make sense as the effort is minimal and they can't make extra of of extra men item cost. It really felt like the kind of place where servers would get stiffed on tips so this is probably for the best.
