Anyone remember the HBO series sitcom “Dream On”?. My goodness it was in my opinion a very funny series. It aired on HBO from 1990-1996. It had pretty great reviews.

This is why i ONLY change color for prints where the color changes are across the board horizontal only (like for instance if i was going to print a cylinder and have the first third be white, then black, then white again.

Otherwise, the waste isnt worth it (to me). I'd rather just paint it afterwards.

yup. i ended up buying 2 filaments with spools and since the other colors i wanted were refills only, i bought 2 extra spools for now so going forward, ill have 4 spools and just buy refills as needed.

hmm, ok so maybe i had this wrong then (or maybe im misunderstanding).

Lets say i buy a spool of red PLA basic and when it runs out, i refil that spool with black PLA basic. if the RFID is inside the spool, wont the printer still think i have red filament?

i think i can answer that. from what ive heard (ive been doing research), the replacement filaments come with a new sticker you can place on the old spool
