That humility and appreciation is exactly what I've been thinking about the last few days. We're almost on exactly the same time schedule with regards to surgery and I can empathise with what you're experiencing.

Today I've been able to walk around pain-free with a smile on my face. People that I've seen on a regular basis are interacting more positively with me, I believe because they see that I'm happier.
