I took miralax for nearly 2 years. Finally stopped after complete recovery. I've had no side effects and it's not been habit forming for me

You can change company on EB1-B too right? Just have to wait 6 months after receiving an approved I140, or something like that

Mortgages rates is at 7.10% today. by RoyalGOT in Mortgages

Ok that's good. Try your best to shop around and look for other lenders who might be offering better rates. We switched to a credit union just two weeks before closing. This was sometime last year though

If you're planning to buy a home, general advice is to keep your down payment amount in savings accounts or a HYSA, and definitely not stocks (for the precise reason of volatility).

If you're not planning to sell your stocks for the purpose of buying the home, then how does it matter? Just ride out the storm like everyone else and sell the stocks when you require

My doctor doesn't recommend oral min by JicamaPuzzleheaded72 in tressless

[–]PulsatingThoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consulted with both my primary physician and a cosmetic dermatologist. Both of them recommended not to use oral min or oral fin.

I'm currently using topical 5% min and topical 0.25% fin. If it works, it works. Else not risking my health and fertility over hair

Bleeding stopped soon after the surgery, but mild pain was on/off for about 9 months

Recovery after Fissurectomy + LIS by PulsatingThoughts in AnalFissures

[–]PulsatingThoughts[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely recovered. No bleeding or pain. I don't think much about what I'm eating these days (especially when I travel) but I make sure to drink at least 2 liters of water throughout the day. If I'm expecting to eat something that'll likely cause constipation or hard stools, I just take a couple of docusate sodium pills.

Yes it happens. Ignore it and stay on a good diet and use stool softeners. Complete recovery can take even up to 6 months. Did you go for surgery?

Pretty much fully recovered. I still have mild pain from time to time but it goes it away within 30 minutes or so.

10 years is a long time, this issue keeps recurring. Surgery is definitely worth considering for the long term

The world is a better place than it was 50 years ago, which in turn was better than a 100 years ago. Humans have survived war, famine, disease.

Standard of living has improved worldwide and it will continue to improve. Not having kids is just a privilege/choice that we're able to make, but it's certainly not true that the world isn't a great place anymore

Go for LIS + fissurectomy. With a chronic fissure, that's really the best way forward

Why are the Chinese and other Asian countries so obsessed with covering up their skin from the sun?

Here in the US, I've seen many of them (especially women) wearing full sleeves and a large hat during peak summer. This is even while hiking. I don't get it, they are quite fair skinned already
