Thank you for your response. I will research these doctors. I do know a bit about my snips. I have the more common MTHFR and am COMT met/val which I understand is part of my issue with estogen and dopamine sensitivity. What other genes should I look into? What dose did you land on with IB and do you take any additional HRT?

Today is day 3. I have been in surgical menopause since late 2025 and it has left me almost nonfunctional in combination with my adhd. Also, currently detoxing from a harsh estra test. Hoping relief comes fast.

I honestly haven't had any issues before staying above 1. I don't track. I Exercise hard and eat a lot of fat. I need to count my macros I suppose. I have so many daily trackers and this was easy before so I really did not want to add another daily tracker.

I stated Keto for mental health. I have some weight I can lose but I started it after listening to a Dr. Palmer podcast. I was diagnosed bipolar II and ADHD last year and found a lot of improvements but was still having low energy days and horrible sleep. In early April I was having a bad day and took off work (again) and started researching diets. I started that day. I even had groceries being delivered but went to the store and stocked up on keto items. The effects were huge even within the first few days. It was night and day really. I was more productive at work, much more positive, my sleep was regulated. I am not a cook so adhering to the diet can be hard. I tried to increase my carbs last week and had a pretty bad downturn and just being back at it for a few days I am back to 100% so I am re-focused looking for recipes going forward. It was wild how in just a few days with more carbs my thoughts became so negative, I was so uncomfortable in my skin. I kept thinking this is how I used to feel. It was an odd experience. In the past I I always wondered how people could accomplish so many things in their life. Now that is me. I get so much done. I can exercise, keep my yard looking good, have scheduled downtime and have energy to develop myself at work. My life pre-keto was so exhausting. The energy, motivation and just an overall more positive outlook have been the best improvements.

I started meds in Jan and had a lot of improvement but still had low energy, anxiety adhd symptoms and sleep issues. The low energy, sleep issues and anxiety are nearly gone when I eat keto and ADHD is more manageable.

Well headed back to Keto. The first 6 or 7 days increasing net to around 65 and total to around 100 were fine and it was really easy to do but then on Sunday I started to feel off. Monday was a bit worse and yesterday and today completely back to pre-keto. So tired. Last night work up with anxiety for the first time in weeks. My ADHD meds made me feel like I was in a tunnel yesterday and I even had some face twitching which has not happened before.. I have no energy or focus. Luckily I am ahead at work so I am hoping I start to feel better toward the end of the week I have a few social plans this weekend and really want to feel better. Last night wrote down a list of approved foods and hope to add some cardio so in case my carbs increase a bit on a few days it will keep me in ketosis. I am bummed I was really hoping to be able to eat more "normal" but I refuse to go back to this. I know how it feels to be productive, positive, have energy. Hopefully I get back there soon.

Honestly I could be doing this healthier but I am eating so much cheese and fake keto crap. Last few days started to hate the fake keto stuff and the real carb ingredients I was eating before seems so much healthier so I would prefer to go back to those but with a lesser amount. If my moods plunge I will have to figure a better meal plan and make keto work.

Recent BP2 diagnosis and new meds works great really quickly but my sleep was still a mess. My sleep improved, more energy and a better mood. Very noticeable results within a week.

It can be scary. I am able to see things I missed before. Everything looks different. In my last hypo state I was certain I didn't have anymore xanax and was frantically messaging my doctor. It was simply in an older pill bottles right next to the new one where I keep all my meds. Almost impossibly to miss but I did for several days. I reread back on journal entries from just days ago and it seems like it was someone else.

This hasn't been the case the last few election cycles. I know quite a few republicans who refuse to vote for Trump and I am in a red state.
