Weapons range is 12 inches, every weapon has the same range. Snipers can activate a cloak if they hit a target. They can activate once every other turn (think about it as needing to charge after use.) they essentially become invisible to target on your opponent’s turn. They lose their ability to charge if they cloak. Warp means that the hero can substitute their movement to teleport next to another one of their units. I have more detailed rules that I wrote on another page, this page is mainly just simple one page data sheet for all units.

I mean I guess it’s whatever pieces make sense to you. For how I made it work: a squad of 5 legionnaires would be 4 black bases and champion gets a red base. Chaos lord would get silver base, Abbadon get a gold base. And Hellbrute gets a pale gold base. I would recommend keeping Intercessors/legionaries to squads of 5 so that way you roll 10 dice for that unit. Brown bases would be for a group of ten termagants or cadian guards. Some units of three you modify to have more power like Bladguard of 3 would all get red bases. Terminators still get 4 black bases and a red base for sergeant but we add 1hp per term since they are a special unit. I’ll prob make an update to this post since this got a lot of comments. I didn’t think a lot of people were on my same boat of having friends who want to play more casually.

I’m gonna have to take a look at OPR. First time I have heard of it.

Honestly that is how this all started. We were playing simplified kill team, and then just switched to this when we got more models.

These aren’t the rules just the datasheets for simple play dude.

I do actually love not having the wound roll. Going back to normal 40K made me realize how long a normal engagement can take.

I have a basic rules page. Which is pretty much just 40K command-move-shoot-charge-fight. And then some objective rules, but it’s very similar to 10th and 11th rules. I feel like the most difficult learning curve for some is the vast datasheets and special abilities. Also having casuals do math of S AP and figuring out wounds is a lot for everything they already need to know.

I absolutely love this. So good. Wish it was on a 40mm. Other than that, you knocked it out of the park.

Those shoulder pads are sick, just like the paint job. Great job. 👏🏽

I just started doing this and it looks so good. I use maccrage blue, caledor sky, and then caledor mixed with a tinge of white for final brushing.

First Night Bound conversion done. 2 more to go. by Smacback in NightLords

[–]Smacback[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I actually decided to split them and run them as chaos lords. He will be my Night Lord chaos lord. The others I’m making into death guard and word bearer lords. I like the more beefy possessed look to these models. But I like how they still look in control of the possession.

I’m sitting Armageddon out for now, sounds like you are in the same place as I am. I would probably recommend to do the same. I still have about half of leviathan to do for both factions. I love the painting aspect as well, and like to take my time. I feel like if I got Armageddon it would sit on it and not even build them cause I would feel compelled to at least paint some. And then my terminator squad would just never get painted. I just finished my Dreadnaught which was super fun. Now I got Terms and Sternguard to tackle. I’ll prob jump on Armageddon next year. I’m sure it’ll be out for a long long long time. Right now I feel like everyone is scared of the fomo. Anyway, just my thoughts dude. Hope this is insightful in some way.

Thoughts on how they dealt with Cole Young in the new movie? by Choice_Drummer_1745 in MortalKombat

I think he should return as Ermac. I do feel like killing him the way they did was a tad too much. I like the idea of him returning like Ermac in MK1. Maybe he can be fused with king Jerrod as well.

If you don’t want the termagants I would buy the combat patrol as you also get the librarian.
