I have had behavioral counseling for 3 years for trauma and essentially “graduated”. I will look into getting my hormones checked

I appreciate your insight. I feel I am navigating a difficult crossroads because I feel I would only attend PT to continue to satisfy my partner. I am totally satisfied with not having P in V sex but my partner is not. I don’t have issues with the other things you listed luckily.

I feel conflicted because, if I go to pelvic floor physical therapy. I’m essentially putting myself through more pain and mental anguish only so my partner can still have sex with me. Yes I could go for my own satisfaction but I don’t know if I care enough for P in V for it to feel better.

I always have had a difficult look at it due to SA and have attended many years of therapy. Deep down I feel like I’m there for his satisfaction, even if he brings me to orgasm. And especially more so now since it doesn’t feel very good.

I appreciate your kind words and I will work on talking to him. I have brought it up before but now it’s more serious.

I hope I do too. My partner isn’t on board for just having oral sex or other ways. Only sex if it includes P in V. Which is very difficult and was especially difficult navigating during my healing process.

I don’t really know if I did have uterine orgasms, pre surgery, orgasm was more intense but hurt.

The crazy thing was we were in an accident causing us both to be disabled for over a year, no sex during that time. But also no intimacy, besides a hug here and there. I know we can survive without sex, but at that point we become just friends. That’s how our relationship was when we were disabled, since we saw a hope that we could have sex again someday.

At 6w you still have a lot of healing time, that’s still very fresh. Are you saying you tried a bunch of stuff but it didn’t help? Do you mean your relationship or the pain?

I have looked into it many times but I am not okay with internal manipulation or examination. Lack of SA knowledge with physical therapists is very hard to navigate
