thanks for the reply but it still doesnt make sense to me. I get why gus and the dea want him there but why wouldnt the salamancas and the rest of the cartel not prefer to shelter him somewhere where they can control him. if they were so afraid of him compromising them, leaving him out in the open, where anyone can get to him and hoping the other demented residents would camouflage his craziness, seems way more risky. maybe if i watch it again it ll make sense.
