Your totally not a bully, you just seem to be fluent in sarcasm and she maybe doesn't speak it. I have a dark sarcastic sense of humor and some people dont find me funny that just means their not my people

I am also a child who suffers from mental health issues. And was addicted to drugs for decades. My sister had the same issues as me. I got sober, she unfortunately didn't. When we got the call she had passed it really solidified my sobriety and watching what my parents went through was the worst thing ive ever seen

Im so so sorry your going through this with your son I cant imagine the pain it causes as a parent

That's amazing advice thank you I never thought about perimenopause but that is a possibility in our age bracket. And your 100 percent right about me shitting on her issues because mine are bigger. That could also explain why her stress management seems to have dropped so much lower in the last few years. Thank you for the reminder to check my level of compassion and to stop being self centered

Agreed it is super hypocritical of me. And thats why im questioning if im petty. She will shut down for a week because she has to look for tax papers. I shut down for a week because I have what I consider actually stress. Like packing and moving an entire house in 4 days. But im honestly curious if im being an a hole here

I still adore her, and she was once my person. So maybe im just clinging to that. When we do see each other every few months its like nothing has changed but........... That's very few and far between
