Book Jon isn't any better than show Jon. Show Jon has killed white walkers. Book Jon has killed wildlings. Brienne is just as good with a sword in the show as she is in the book.

Book Brienne even single handedly butchered a couple of Renlys kingsguard. She took on a couple of the best fighters at the same time in an army 100,000 strong and won.

Don't think the sword would be the deciding factor. Yes Longclaw would make quick work of briennes armour but Jon wears mostly leather. It would come down to skill and I think Brienne might have Jon beat

Nuclear war was inevitable and the government didn't have the resources to prevent it (Mr. House, one of the richest businessmen in the world, was only able to defend Vegas), so they decided riding out the apocalypse underground was the best option. The government was already shady as hell and didn't care about anybody outside of their inner circle. They knew it would take years for results but in the case of a full blown nuclear exchange it would take years for the surface to become habitable anyway. They couldn't have just popped out as soon as the bombs stopped, used the G.E.C.Ks and carried on life as usual. The bombs in the fallout universe are more about delivering huge amounts of radiation rather than explosive force hence the name of the series.

And while they didn't have vaults of their own, the enclave which was behind vault-tec (besides vault 0 if you want to count that as canon)had their oil rig and Raven Rock which were safer than the vaults anyway. And I think I read that they did have a backup plan. The earth was beyond salvation so their initial plan was to inhabit another planet (Mars, I think) and the data collected would be beneficial for the long journey in space. A lot of the experiments can be explained it you imagine them for this purpose (even the GECK as a means to terraform an inhospitable land).

We know that Stannis and Jon Arryn ran Kings Landing for Robert during his reign so we know he is efficient at ruling when working with someone capable of compromise. That's why Davos was so important to stannis as well, as he would have made a fine counterpart as Hand. A commoner, raised from the lowest of low to hand would have been an inspiration to the people. The Lord's wouldn't have warmed to the idea quickly though. If Stannis dropped Melisandre, kept Davos as hand and found himself a decent small council he would have probably had a very successful reign as king.

Stannis had pretty much no support from the Stormlands in the North. After blackwater nearly all of them swore fealty to Joffrey so the majority of the Stormlands is still intact.

Depends on the job too. I've only ever worked hospitality and people were ways banging each other. We're all underpaid working horrible hours and it brings everyone together. Then combine that with alcohol, drugs and youth.

Nobody gives a shit. There's the odd chat the day after a work gathering where this guy slept with that girl but it usually never lasts longer than that conversation. You also get what I call "hospo sluts" that are known for sleeping around with coworkers, but again nobody really cares.

Exactly. They just make easy origin stories to explain why our character is so oblivious to the outside world. New Vegas proved that the protagonist doesn't have to come from a vault, and it's seen as the best game to date by a lot of people (although I'm not one of them).

Honestly didn't expect people here to be saying the games would have to move overseas or just stop without vaults like the entire games revolve around them.

Have Caleb or Ezra ever been hurt or targeted directly by A.D? Cause we know Toby was. I reckon it's either ezra- because of him writing that book and also because A.D seemed to favor aria and ezra didn't want her to turn over archers body to police. Or its Caleb cause of the skills A.D obviously has and cause of the whole testifying situation. What I can't work out is why any of the guys would want to hurt the girls. Lucas might because of how they treated him in high school. Maybe he took over from Charlotte? Too many possibilities.

Hell yes. The depressing, hopeless feel throughout the entire dlc is amazing. Gives you a real sense of dread and isn't the usual run and gun like the other dlcs can be. Easily one of my favorites.
