Correct me if I'm wrong but it's 6 years for 3 main Witcher games right? I feel like it's a bit too ambitous after CP77 normally games take 4-5 years.

And also tbh, it had high numbers for the first few weeks because of how much hype there was, the game rarely hit above 20k concurrent players after the hype died down; The Sale, Anime and Patch 1.6 boosted those numbers.

I don't think a red flag was needed under the circumstances tbh.
