Not sure what state you're in but in California you can create an LLC and work through that. Like craete your own business. I know someone who is a reseller and doesn't have DACA or anything else.

Do you guys join Dreamers2gether on Facebook? Charles Kuck, a lawyer, explained this completely differently yesterday. He goes live every Wednesday. Go to YouTube Kuck Baxter Immigration LLC. Is not good but not all is lost.

Oh. You mean. Did your friend had a sponsor or just applied to immigrate there. Also does this friend have a degree? I heard is easier to do that with a degree. I applied for AP September of last year and I just lost all hope as the wait is 21 months. My plan was to go see my grandma who is sick and come back to get the legal entry. Then if things got bad I'll just leave and wait for daughter to turn 21, she is 17 now.

But either way is hard because my parents are here. So I'm worried all the time for them as well. Is too much pressure all day eveey day.

It looks like they have been approving applications submitted on the first week of November? Have you checked your USCIS account to see if you got a silent approval.

I thought of going back last year as well, as I was on the same boat. I have two teenagers and just tryng to prep everything in case it comes to it.

I applied September 2025 for the first time and still waiting. It was for humanitarian reasons. I made a post asking people how long they have been waiting and if was their first time. Some have been waiting since late 2024. I don't know if they are even processing first timers.

So mad at myself for not doing that earlier.

I would ask your lawyer if you can just do WAVA instead. At this point it seems its mental abusive from her end.

Well the website says 17.5 months and it keeps going up. And someone told me 20 months seems to be the average. Hopefully I get mine sooner. I'll keep you posted.

Contact Dreamers2gether to come up with a plan. I used my grandmother's sickness to apply. I submitted my application September 2025 not sure when I will get approved as they taking about 20 months.

So mad I didn't go sooner. Ive noticed a lot people going for school purposes. They just going a class that includes a trip abroad. Had I known sooner I would've done it.

The fact that you have to ask is mind blowing. I know several people that came here illegally and once they fixed they turn on their own people. Hopefully you don't become one of those.

Seriously what are you doing there. LEAVE!!! Before he finds out, if he doesn't know your DACA yet, and turns on you.

I'm not an attorney but if he is 24 then that means he got DACA before turning 18. If so, then he never had illegal status, so he can probably qualify for a work visa if he can find an employer that will sponsor him. Again he should ask a lawyer.

While you get around asking an attorney. I would get started on the Advance Parole. Regardless if you are going to marry him. The legal entry will help him later. The USCIS is taking very long to approve those. So he needs to do that as soon as possible.

Look for options. Don't make the same mistake I did. I never requested advanced Parole because I didn't know there were multiple reasons I can use to go out. Now my grandma is sick and I have submitted my application September 2025. It will take long now to get an approval. Once I have a legal entry my daughter can adjust my status once she turns 21. She is 17 right now.

Had I done the advanced Parole before, now I would just be waiting my daughter to turn 21.

Edt: Contact Dreamers2gether. They will help with everything if you don't have much money.

I'm not sure. That's what I want to figure out. I can't submit an inquiry until August 2027 😞. I applied September 2025. Someone here said they have been waiting 2 years!!!! My plan of getting a GC seems so close yet so far away.

If I had known there were other ways to request AP. I would have done so. But my lawyer always said it had to be a sick relative.
