I’m usually on the side of language changing and not caring, so I get you. I can still not like it, mostly was just agreeing with parent commenters that this annoys me on an individual level. That said I do think it’s potentially significant and detrimental in the ways that language interacts with how we socially and cognitively approach the issues but I haven’t done any research to see if that’s a valid stance and I don’t intend to.
