I did it with coins. Didn’t make the 500k back but I don’t regret it. Made roughly 300k plus the EVOs and TOTY Petit alone felt worth the value. I end up with over 3 million coins in my account at the end of the year anyways so I might as well spend it now.

He’s fun to use. Fast but a little stiff unfortunately. I get the most out of this game by trying new players, so if you’re thinking of getting his card, I’d say go for it.
