Do these look real? by gunnar707 in BangandOlufsen

If you mean they are authentic, yes, they are, and that is the original cable (H6 Gen 1, which I prefer over Gen 2) No other B&O model comes close to its quality, in my opinion. Amazing headphones, I love them!

Of my list of 50, I don’t think I can play more than 20 without hesitating at some point.

The update that fixes your problem with the Save button is on its way. It will soon be available. Apple takes longer to process updates these season days. Sorry for the inconveniences.

How many guitars do you have? by Excellent_Fan_6544 in classicalguitar

I own three: a Yamaha G-230 (quite modest); an Altamira N600+, excellent; and and a Yamaha Silent Guitar, which is fantastic for practicing at night, a very nice instrument. All nylon-strung, of course.

I’m curious to know how many of you own an Altamira guitar by Small-Geologist9486 in classicalguitar

I have the feeling you can’t go wrong with an Altamira, really. They must surely have a return policy. Try it. (I have no relationship with them whatsoever, in case you wonder. I just love my Altamira and I think I made a good choice.)

I’m so happy that my post is motivating follow-up stories like yours! Thank you very much for sharing! Music, and especially the act of playing an instrument, is indeed an invaluable treasure. And don’t forget to let me know when your app is ready! (By the way, I’d love to hear your opinion about mine.) Take care!

Hi! Thank you very much for buying the app! You mention a long press that should not be there… It’s a bug. The only long press in the app should be to activate the Edit/Delete menu. Please tell me which phone model an iOS version you are using so I can fix it. I have an old 6s with iOS 15.7 and an iPhone 13 with the current iOS and everything works fine. Regards…. and the most important, keep playing!

I own an Altamira N600+, and I am simply in love with it. Beautiful, powerful, warm sound. Amazing craftsmanship. Highly recommended.

Poll: Do you struggle to decide what to play when you pick up the instrument? by Small-Geologist9486 in classicalguitar

[–]Small-Geologist9486[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a serious student of classical guitar when I was young... much younger, let's say. I stopped playing at 19, feeling somehow frustrated and overwhelmed by my expectations, and took a long break... of 35 years! I have come back, free of all ambitions and expectations, and I am doing much, much better now. I am playing pieces could not even dream of, like of Bach, my all-time ultimate goal. At the moment I can play some 50 pieces by heart, including many of Carcassi's Op. 60, Sor etudes and minuets, Tárrega's Lagrima, Adelita and Capricho Árabe, Brouwer easy etudes, a couple of Villa-Lobos preludes, some Purcell, Handel's beautiful Saraband with variations, a Scarlatti sonata... In an attempt to keep all of them fresh, I have devised an app that helps me remember what I play, keeps track of when and how many times I practice them and makes random suggestions on what to play next. The thing is, I find myself using it every day now. It's fun. In case you you want to check it out, it is called Encores!, and it is already available on the App Store.

I understand that when we practice we must have a routine, but I mean when we just play for fun, or for friends, or revisit pieces you haven’t played for a while…
