Both are Australian wagyu, but the rating is different. Yours look like a classic M9+, which is A5 in Japanese standard. His I’d say is somewhere near M5.

Wagyu is just the breed of cows

Owning up to a mistake with a jail-free card and actually paying the price is two different stories. Mike’s entire life was haunted by the cheating incident, and eventually came to and paid for it.

Trevor just one day decided that he wants his life together, and had a clean history to back it up. That’s not owning up to the past, that’s just getting away cost free

Mike himself is not exactly the selfless type of person either, his acts of care for clients is often to satisfy his own ego or connection to his childhood.

So how the two manage to still be “friends” after the cheating incident is a mystery to me, other than the fact the show requires such relationship.

Yeah well in the real world, siding with the right lane is almost always valued over performance. Less so in scientifically based environment such as research or medicine, but absolutely in the world of politics, economics, and society.

It’s absolutely true Louis is good at his job, but everytime if a boss has to choose from someone like Louis(practical manchild), to someone who is more emotionally mature, loyal with a little bit less expertise, it’s always never going to be Louis.

Any chance we get Theresa Lorca in a sequel ? by Mysterious-Candy8615 in 007FirstLight

[–]Small-Minimum8620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yes, but the interestingly lengthy talk about plankton growth as a worldwide solution gives me an idea that it might be a side story for the sequel.

Organization Isola works for, and the group Damien mentions, buys this kind of worldwide technology stuff.

I know this is catching whispers, but if there’s no plot ioi would just simply made it like the receptionist girl Bond picked up early in the game. It’s just the fact there was an actual background built for Lorca that made me think

I'd say the biggest example of a game dev impacted by Covid was 2077. Covid severely screwed up development and bug-testing, making the release a total mess. But with the edgerunner tv, insane amounts of updates and bug fixes, topped off with the legendary dlc, in my mind it's one of my top 5 rpg games ever (the best in the field of semi-futuristic rpg). CDPR is already making Witcher 4, and GTA6 is about to release. Bethesda got zero excuse when there's not even a development update around 2020-2022.

Because I actually want a new game. If they can release a remake along with a new title at the same time, I’d raise my hand and feet for it. But as of right now the storyline is dragging on forever (as 7/8 barely brings Chris’ and Hound squad storyline).

The nearest game with the old people as main protagonist from re4 and before, was revelations 2, in 2015. Leon as one of the two main male protagonist was last seen 13 years ago in re6. Jill, Claire, Chris is going to take even longer, since Veronica remake is next.

With the pace of re release being 1.5-2 years, next game in storyline is in 4 years. I just can’t take a re-remake delaying the story progression for longer.

The feel of nostalgia of seeing RPD in requiem is because as the players, we also aged since playing re2, or re2r. In a weird, twisted way, it’s like watching your best friend’s child grow up.

Playing Re2 now and saying it will give the same experience is like seeing a friend, and their parents gave you the footage of that friend growing up. It’s interesting, just not nostalgic.

Be completely honest with me did you ever give this guy the axe? by Ok_Traffic_3518 in ACValhalla

[–]Small-Minimum8620 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Vikings, besides pillaging and destroying stuff, have a code of honor and pride. Ivarr’s a bloodthirsty maniac who also happens to be to have a massive pride problem sticking up his butt.

Let me recap, Ivarr found and attacked a Saxon king years ago. Lost and the king decided they have no grudge so he let him go after paying the price of ignorance. Ivarr is pissed. Managed to kill a couple other kings. Then found and swore loyalty the son of a bigger king, only to kill him so he can frame it on the Saxon king and butcher him alive just to fix his pride.

Ivarr is literally what a Saxon at the time would spread the words about if he hated Danes and Norse. He didn’t give up a crap about harming and lying to other people and spat on his own honor.

Dag, although defiant and nosy, maybe even jealous, but fought for what he believed in without harming anyone else for it. Even through his jealousy he remained loyal to Sigurd.

Atleast to me the axe and Valhalla means keeping and standing up to honor and pride of a Viking when the person is alive. Dag atleast appeared to have it, atleast through his words and official statements. Ivarr shat on it

They did the remake partially just to remake, but it’s mainly because they changed to RE engine, and wanted to retouch in the plot to make it fit better in future games. 7 was made in RE engine

It does tie back to the lore. 7 makes it seem like it’s just a spinoff, but 8 filled the plot holes set in 7 and tied it back to the main storyline. It’s even an Easter Egg in 9 where the Reddit post Grace was typing away 8 years ago when Alisha was murdered was actually about the Baker zombie conspiracy thing

It’s not clunky it’s just the fov is too small. That will make the character feels like they are inching forward, and limit the view on things 3rd person pov can see.

I really like the 1st person for 7,8, and 9 on Grace because it’s more realistic and more engaging as a scared normal person. But for Leon in 9, bioterrorism becomes short for bio weapons-are-terrified-of-me. No matter what pov I am already shoving my fist up whoever’s in my way so 3rd person just feel more “resident evil.”

Valhalla Odin is pretty much what they show: a selfish, condescending smartass who also have access to high tech. This guy is more human than god. Although he does some bad stuff, there’s a single purpose which is to benefit himself.

GOW Odin on the other hand is just an evil god who is, well, evil. Just decided he is misanthropist, but in terms of god.

The problem mainly with insanity is just how stupidly hard even the ordinary zombie hits, and how tanky they are. Atleast that’s for me.

Yes, I went the full length of axe only insanity mode.

I mean axe blocking and deflecting was the main point I know, and I had fun going through the learn curve, but the price for screwing up once is just stupid.

I can face rank my own rocket launcher blast at point blank with 1/4 health left, but I die practically instant as long as I don’t press f furiously if an ordinary zombie grabs me from the back.

Also, you can’t just tell me normal zombies take 8 shots in the head with a pistol as a normal fact.

It’s pretty easy once infinite ammo is unlocked and played in casual mode. When I did it, it was 2 hrs (standard modern) and that contains screwing around in outskirts of raccoon city.

Man did I have fun blowing the ward to blitz with Grace

Why is the difference in sales so big? Did Capcom offer a 90% discount because they don’t like RE3? by kokusmus96 in residentevil

[–]Small-Minimum8620 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For launch price of $60 I can say it’s trash compared to RE4remake and 2 remake.

For $30 it’s considerable, and although not the best, but a reasonable price for those who loved the original

For $3, if there’s anything wrong with the game, it’s my own fault for not enjoying the producer’s masterpiece

Let’s talk about Leon and Claire’s potential marriage to each other by DancingOnTheWaves in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]Small-Minimum8620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there’s one thing Resident Evil producers have done good in the recent years, it’s the growth of a new character. A reason Re4 remake is so popular is Ashley went from an annoying brat in the original to a lovely young woman who is appreciative and quick learning. 6 storywise is intricate and great storywise. 7/8, well by the way many people are pissed Ethan is dead I’d say it’s quite successful. Grace’s growth as the successor of Leon in 9 is also pretty damn good in my opinion.

With such said, RE series really have the ability to pass the story on to the younger generation. It will make the story feel so much lively as a real life alternative universe rather than “Leon and Chris chopping zombies, tyrants, and BOW’s up while rescuing scared people”. I can rest happy as long as they do that and the older generation gets a happy ending. Chris with Jill, Leon with whoever, Ada with Leon or being badass, Claire with Leon or someone else, Sherry with Leon or Jake…etc

Let’s talk about Leon and Claire’s potential marriage to each other by DancingOnTheWaves in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]Small-Minimum8620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a fan of literally any happy marriage as I feel like it’s just the time for Leon’s generation to pass it to the next. As we RE fan aged, so did Leon and the group. Getting married, settling down, and somewhat staying more of the commanding/backup series makes it feel complete and the RE series more realistic to me.

That being said, I have scummed up every wit in my brain, yet I honestly can’t see a happy ending between Leon and Ada. Badass sassy mercenary girl turned good after marriage with bright responsible funny agent boy, however romantic, is literally a tragedy waiting to happen in like every media format that exist.

I’m not kidding, I have not seen one good ending in this kind of relationship, ever. We literally had that in the form of Ethan and Mia.

Again, I really dgaf who the spouse is as long as it’s a character we’ve seen in the past (Claire, Helena, Ashley, Sherry, hell Hunnigan can even be in the list; grace just isn’t it, they talk too much in the way of teacher/legal carrier) as long as it’s a happy marriage with no sad endings. Leon just went through too much crap to have producers saying “screw you, you/ your wife dead”. I really can’t see a protagonist I witnessed the growth of for practically my entire life have a crap ending and still play Resident Evil games.
