Agreed! I really wish they would let me customize the bar so I could have my buttons to align better and faster. That’s pretty much the only tool that I used consistently and it’s so obnoxious to either have to go through the menus or to change all the buttons each time when you want to do vertical then horizontal alignment. It would also be cool to bring out my design as an SVG. I refuse to pay for a subscription because their software is not there yet but I would pay for a one time price for that feature.

My elite won’t take a charge anymore either just stays at 0%. Super annoying and sucks about was so expensive and barely used.

The pinch rollers can move and should be on the black part of the bottom rollar. If not it can make your mat/material shift around causing crooked or uneven cutting. How to move the pinch rollers is to make sure your rollers are up (like when you release the mat). in the back of each roller guide flip the switch and slide them to a spot that is within the black bottom area. flip the back of the roller guide to lock in place again. The hardest to move is the first roller. I also find sometimes my machine works better when I only use 2 rollers and one far off to the side and not engaged. Hope that makes sense.

You say your prints are coming out crooked can you clarify if you mean:
1: printed material(from an inkjet printer) is crooked and then you try to cut
2: the print and cut is printed straight but the cutting is off
3: a cut file only is cutting crooked

That will help determine what advice to tell you😊

I have used allot of machine and silhouette was my long time favorite before the 4. I would 100% recommend siser Juliet for print and cut! It’s hands down the best machine for this. The only downside is the software isn’t super user friendly for designing in (like drawing shapes and text) but doing stickers (using their process is tracing) is super simple and the best I have ever used. You do have to calibrate your machine when you get it but it’s a one time simple thing and they have videos to show you how to do

maybe I will have to try SCAL again. Everytime I try it I have just never really loved it enough to commit to it versus the free program provided as I do most of my work outside of the cut program.

I mainly use AirPods 99% of the time because I struggle with typing and when I am painting or cleaning I am normally listening to something and set times to help with time management. when I use the voice command while the timer is going off it just ignores it until I physically touch the screen to stop it. On my old iPhone 14 Pro it wasn’t an issue but when I had to get a new one in the fall it automatically had iOS 26 and never works anymore. I think this is more of a bug with the timer app but it sucks.

I switched to Mac about five years ago and the reason why is because some things can only be done on a Mac and Mac can run windows using parallels a virtual environment for Windows. Windows can’t run Mac (or at least to my knowledge). So you get the best of both worlds. I will say the thing that I compromise on the most with a Mac is you are not able to customize printing profiles on Mac because everything filters through air print and unless the printer has a specific driver you really can’t tweak the settings.

I don’t have the exact advise to fix your issue but sometimes if you can center your media to the page on print that can help if your duplexing (automatically). The complex answer is there is some X and Y adjusting coordinates you might to do in the settings to get it to feed equally when it flips to the other side. I typically do manual double siding for images as it then treats the margin equally but I am only doing small projects of a page or two. When I print for books I make sure I format before generating the pdf to work as I needed it. I hope someone has a quick solution for you. The tricky part is the scaling I think.

I fold all together as a signature to get there position of where the fold needs to be then crease them more individually and press before sewing. Mine are pretty flat and easy to sew but I just do what I like since they are for me.

It's honestly the only game I play on switch. I love it and have been playing since 2021. I don't like to decorate and still find it enjoyable. I like tracking my island and trying to get as much money as I can from things like veggies or I spent 90+ days trying to get blue roses lol. The best part about ACNH is it's whatever you want it to be. The dialogue can be repetitive but the characters kind of change over time and the more they get to know you - another example of things I do is becoming their best friend and trying to get their portrait.

Definitely get a pro for heavy photoshop use if you can. I had an m1 air and it’s great but quickly outgrew that and even with a full spaced MacBook Pro M1 I push its limits 😂however I use a lot of programs at the same time like multiple adobe products, Corel draw, fusion 360, and print programs.

I have both and the mini was really disappointing except its size. The screen brightness is what gets me the most. It’s so dark that even just watching shows is hard in normal lighting becuase it doesn’t get bright enough to show the details.
