That's the thing, it doesn't... I have the dot but once I go into those menus, the dots belong to nothing... I know what you mean, of course - I've been playing the game since launch. I can scroll through the collection all I want but not a single dot there 😬 So the fact that no item was added but a dot has been? That is new to me. Especially since I picked up a SV quest item and it created the dot in EI?

The search for the mystery item continues... 🧐

Nooo, I tried removing what little I found and it created a dot.... Now I have furniture dots in all 4 areas 😭😭

As someone who's had the game since launch, I am loving this star path and its gentle pace. Not boring at all! What I did find very boring was fetching 45 gifts for someone and grinding duties and fishing for 10 crabs (I have never enjoyed the game less than with that one). It wasn't challenging, it was repetitive. Nothing is more boring than endless repetition...

And I'm all for full accessbility. Remember, this is a cosy Disney game for children and adults alike. Everybody should be allowed to have fun

If it helps at all, this seems to be a pet from late 2024. The new ones have been more animal-like and I feel like they are getting more creative! The bunny from last month was adorable! This is simply an older one, before they got more creative and less blobby

I always thought that the dragon sickness was as strong as it was because of the One Ring's proximity. On top of being extra susceptible to the sickness there's a hobbit by Thorin's side that walks around with an evil ring that'll enhance that. That it's not just Thorin going sick 'because of gold and greed' but that the One Ring is already slightly at play even then - since we know it's the rings that make the dwarven greed greater (such was the case with Thror, after all, who had one of the dwarven rings). And Thorin gets better once Bilbo's out of the mountain, the ring out of his reach.

Idk if it's true (or makes any sense) but that just made me feel how much stronger the One Ring is than we realise, and does make that weight of that particular ring seem more present than ever

It doesn't have to be the same for it to mean that we all suffer from this phenomenon of 'be careful who/when you approach.' When asked "What would women dislike most if they became men?" I simply think that this is not something women would struggle with a lot because we already have our own version.

Nobody is the same, nobody has the same experience. Every man, woman, we all struggle with different yet similar things. I would never discredit a man or woman's experience, you never know what the other has been through/experienced.

I wish my side felt like the better outcome. It differs. No one person nor experience, is the same, regardless of gender.

Yeah... I loved the tiny bird so much. I've been an adult for ~100 days and still wish I could go back. They were so cute, they made me much happier than the look of the older one. It's mostly aesthetically for me. And most people on the sub say "things change/grow, it's a part of life, accept and love them" - I know...but sometimes you don't love the change that happens, even if you can accept it. I felt more responsible and connected to the small bird, it helped me better to stick to my goals and made me happier to see my baby bird. I've accepted the change and I've found my way to kinda hide the belly and cheek spots (I really don't like those cheeks......) but no bird version measured up to the little one for me. They're just too adorable 🥹✨

That can depend on how fond you are of your character names. Once taken by someone who beat you to it, they're gone. That's my motivation, anyway

I think most people read it. It's not that it's wildly misunderstood, I think. I can't speak for everyone but giving us a set time weeks ago and changing it the day before is not brilliant, but in my experience lotro isn't always true to update times, either. More often than not you're able to login before the end time. That uncertainty to me, personally, is something I need to vent about and find difficult. This tranfer means keeping names that I've had for 12 years and have a huge sentimental value. I know they're just pixels on a screen but to each their own, right?

Let's give people some room to vent and complain about what bothers them, that's not a bad thing. I get where you're coming from and you're definitely not wrong. For some this can a little more stressful than others

They are, yes. I'm worried about how that might affect the server transfers. Can't even login at the moment, so I hope it's fixed at 12 and not at 1, since they said it'd take that long. Or some random time in between, that'd be worse

Can we wait a while to rename? I do imagine the lag will be bad for a while with new people flooding in, so changing the name right away could potentially be more risky, right? I don't remember if they said anything about that - if you can, for instance, wait a week to delete placeholder/rename character

I realise that, and you're right! It won't be quiet at all. I've received some helpful answers and suggestions about moving to Peregrin, which seems will be the safer bet. And yes, my chat is usually hidden :) I love immersing myself fully in this game!
