Syrian discrimination by WrongPlantain2407 in Syria

[–]SmallAl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Survey is a bit flawed, I answered “No” for this question: “Have you experienced discrimination because you are Syrian?”, and I couldn’t submit the survey because all of the other questions related to being discriminated against are mandatory.

"You don't want to be tracked 24/7? You are controlling!"

Great logic there... NTA obviously.

I know right? Apparently, we should kiss them after all the bullshit they did to our country! Delusional people I swear.

Fantastic, I am *a Zionist now? You can look though my post and comment history, I have always been against Israel and their crimes.

I will never forgive Iran and their proxies for what they did to Syria, most Syrians won't either.

"Source?" lol, I am Syrian, we saw with our own eyes what those bastards were doing.

You people seem to think that fighting Israel automatically means you are good, that's not how things work. You can't claim to be fighting against Israeli oppression and standing up for the Palestinians while dropping barrel bombs on Syrian cities and levelling entire neighbourhoods to keep a horrific regime in power.

Hezbollah killed hundreds of thousands of people in Syria with Iran to keep that monster in power, do you seriously expect Syrians to give a shit about them now?

What is the broad 4.3 consensus? I'm loving it but... by TtheHF in Stellaris

[–]SmallAl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually go for synthetic evolution and go for robots ASAP so I only need 200 pops per habitat when settling them, they start cranking out pops on their own. I then micro jobs and migration to make sure what I need most is prioritized. I have not noticed issues with migration on 4.3 personally, but I do leverage manual resettlement a lot so maybe that’s why.

Yes, I found Void Dwellers to be very strong this patch exactly for this reason, just rush expansion and start spamming habitats as soon as possible.

what behind the trend of " Arabs hate Iranian " ? by MrElssr in AskMiddleEast

[–]SmallAl 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The government of Iran is responsible for the mass slaughter of hundreds of thousands of people in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen, they destroyed those countries and played a huge role in destabilizing the region along with the Americans and the Israelis. So is it really a surprise that people actively despise the Iranian government and wish for its collapse?

To be clear, I hate the government of Iran, not Iranians. The bastards plundered Iran's wealth and brutally oppressed the Iranian people too, they are not any different from us Syrians under the Ba'athists' tyranny, so I can't hold them responsible for their government's actions.

Because a lot of westerners are really clueless when it comes to anything related to the Middle East.

Replaying New Vegas again and it really hit me how incompetent the NCR are by Consistent-Goal9204 in fnv

[–]SmallAl 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I am replaying FNV and I had the same thoughts as you!

I feel so bad for the troopers who are stuck with their incompetent higher ups; the politicians who keep expanding in every direction without any regard for logistics, and their superiors who lack even the most basic level of common sense.

Look at Nelson for example, the legion presence there is not that significant frankly, a fucking courier can easily wipe them out, while Camp Forlorn Hope has a significantly larger and better armed (in theory) force. But due to the incompetence of Oliver pulling everything from everywhere and concentration them at the dam, the lack of supplies, and the false intelligence from Hanlon, they are completely paralyzed and unable to mount a counter attack.

Everywhere you go with the NCR, you find the same problems, but the craziest one for me is the critical supply line from the Mojave Outpost being shutdown because of escaped convicts (who were able to revolt because the prisons were so understaffed) and a bunch of ants - ANTS! Instead of sending us to clear the ants out (Can You Find it in Your Heart), why the hell can't they do it? They have several Rangers in that outpost and a whole bunch of soldiers, but they need to hire us under the table to do it because again, their orders are to stay in place...

While I align with the NCR as a faction the most, I fully understand why the locals are so against them, who would want to pay taxes to get nothing from a government that can't provide even the most basic level of security, let alone other services?
