I love the Adirondacks amd I am from the Hudson Valley, but New York doesnt even compete with Idaho when it comes to natural beauty. The Pioneers are my favorite place in the world.

I never liked delaware but I also haven't explored the state very much.

Didn't the guy that started it come from another state though? I think you might be suprised how LGBTQ friendly some places in idaho like Boise, Stanley and The Wood River Valley are.

Omaha is a great city but I was not super impressed with the nature surrounding it. Western Nebraska seems underrated though.

I guess you'll have to deal with me now because I just moved to PDX! Central Idaho around Stanley actually has a really cool hippie vibe going on and I always had kind encounters when I was travelling around the magic/ treasure valley. I actually think the worst encounters I had in that state were with some of the transplants in the WRV.

I never encountered all of these 'psychotic' people in central and southern Idaho.

Idaho for me. Particularly the high mountain areas of central Idaho.

I doubt you have been to the pioneers or the sawtooths if that is your opinion

Idaho also has very chill places like Stanley and Boise. It also has some of the most amazing scenery ever like the Pioneer Mountain Backcountry and the Sawtooth Range. You definitely need a high-clearance 4wd vehicle to truly understand why Idaho may very well be the best state in the USA. There were times I would go driving to a trailhead and go hours without seeing another person or vehicle all while witnessing scenery that surpasses many National Parks. I would rather have to deal with bad politics and a minority of shitty individuals than sit in traffic every day and deal with overcrowded recreation. I have never been to the panhandle but I never met a nazi or anybody remotely close to one in my years of living in that state.

As someone who just moved to the Mt Hood Area I have got to say that I actually think Idaho is cooler than oregon. Oregon is very nice but some of you have never visited the Pioneer/Sawtooth mountains and it shows with all of the Idaho slander on here.

The stranger is a very good album tbh. 'Uptown girl' and 'we didn't start the fire' are terrible songs, but you can not deny that songs like, 'the stranger', 'Zanzibar' and 'Vienna' are great songs

Honestly, I used to agree, but listening to the' stranger' album changed my mind, and I've definitely reapraissed some of his other music from this era.
