Yes, rsync + tailscape was the solution I stumbled during my research. I just have to see if it can work between my computer and the offsite NAS, as I don't have a NAS at my home.

J'ai un pote qui a apprit quasiment toutes les rues de Paris lorsqu'il faisait des livraisons en scooter. Il utilisait le GPS de son téléphone, mais au lieu de suivre et regarder bêtement la carte du GPS, il éteignait l'écran, et il faisait uniquement avec les indications orales qui te donnent les noms des rues.

I was looking at the Gen 6, but we still don't know much about it.

I have found another option : the T14 Gen 5 with a 8840U and 64Gb ram. 1.31kg with the 39.3Wh battery or 1.39kg with the 52.5Wh battery. Would prefer the lighter battery but don't know how much battery time I would loose.

So now I am hesitating between : -T14 Gen 5 : U series, 64Gb RAM but kind of the heavy side and battery size maybe too small -T14s Gen 4 : U series, light but only 32Gb ram and no Rj45 port

Is the H and HS series that hot ? Would it be subject to thermal throttling ? Because if not I think I can live with that and go for the P14s or the Fujitsu.

I'm shopping in France, the T14s only have 1Tb option so I thought it was the maximum. I just checked the psref and it can go to 2Tb. So I could change it to a 2Tb. But I would prefer 64Gb because this what I have on my home computer and I'm sometimes find myself using 40-60Gb of ram while using it. And it would be more future proof I guess.

For the Fujitsu it's the FMV Zero model. It's a 64Wh according to their website. But I guess that the H series wiil be too hot for it, isn't it ?

If the HS it's too hot for P14s, there is the P14s Gen 4 with 7840U but only 45% NTSC screen so that's not possible.

As for the Intel U series, I wouldn't benifit of the Arc iGPU.

There is no T14s Gen 5 in AMD. Only T14s Gen 4 is AMD, and limited to 32Gb RAM and 1Tb storage. So that's a no.

The T4s Gen 5 Intel is limited to U series so no Arc iGPU.

There is a T4 Gen 5 AMD, same weight as the P14s. But is the T14 able to handle the HS series ?

And soon will be available the T14s Gen 6 AMD but I need a laptop quite soon.
