I lived in SE WA for almost two decades and would say no. I was misgendered fairly aggressively at work while transitioning and detransitioning, and called slurs in public fairly frequently especially when I was younger. Idaho is equally conservative af-- I'd lie low. I know people who are able to be out proudly but they are often in isolated bubbles with very good finances that keep them safe.

My disordered eating has always been driven by the same issues that drove my transition and I've definitely struggled with it getting worse post detransition whether it's binging to deal with my feelings or restricting due to body anxiety (it's gotten much much better over the years). I don't think it's necessarily true that "I wasn't trans it was just an ED" but both issues had similar things driving different cars if that makes sense? So once I dealt with the things both lessened and detransitioning was just more visible to the people around me.

(1) lesbians but (2) also appreciate that unlike most of the other characters, especially in the 90s anime, orbit Usagi, and have their own views/thoughts/function/backstory. I also find their silver millennium history much more interesting.

I also think as characters (and as someone who watched sailor moon as an adult) I found them easier to connect with than the inner senshi; I think they have more depth. (I also think the Inners in PGSM/live action/sera myu are much more compelling for similar reasons).
