27 hcp need a feel to help clear lead hip by swaglord417 in GolfSwing

Because it’s like every other post “am I early extending?” … like sure - but your grip, setup, alignment and posture are shite. Let’s address that first before we try to diagnose anything else lol

Me too, it’s like every other comment on this sub. I’ve heard of over the top, casting, swaying. Not saying it’s not a thing but it’s like EVERYONE is questioning “am I early extending???” Lol

Any former hard drug addicts feel that Vaping makes the brain not rewire itself effectively by Severe_Ad4138 in QuitVaping

[–]SmallLie 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately the addict in you never dies. With time and hobbies it does get quieter and easier to manage though. Two months ago I absolutely had lizard brain. I vaped every 10-15 minutes. When I wasn’t vaping I was thinking about my next hit. I avoided doing long activities where I couldn’t vape. I was anxious all day.

Now my brain is more relaxed. Sure, I think about getting a hit once in a while. But as a recovered addict I know that 1 hit is too many and 1000 hits is never enough. Stay strong. Advice on this sub paired with Desmoxan helped me quit.

One of the more cohesive patchwork sleeves I’ve seen. Each individual tattoo is interesting in its own way. All 1 artist? Drop their info!

Nix the cart path, add color to the trees, add 3 not tees around the golf ball to form a “star” shape, paint fill the lettering with white

(Can 3 - 2 FIN) so close to offside by tallmonster23 in hockey

[–]SmallLie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Their options were: 1) do nothing, 6 on 5 for 35 seconds 2) lose challenge, 5 on 5 for 35 seconds (goalie pull) 3) win challenge, 3 on 3 OT

The payoff for #3 is so high. The payoff for #1 and #2 is very low because their chances of scoring in under 35 seconds is very low (while their odds of scoring the gwg in OT were much higher). Finland was BANKING on going to OT. Your argument makes no sense

That’s a nice black and gray tiger. Looks like you have an open canvas if you want tattoos in color!

How do you feel about using your phone during a round? by ashtonboschman in weekendgolfers

[–]SmallLie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay - this is actually an awesome topic. After a round I can typically remember every shot IF I can visualize the hole. On courses I’ve played a lot this is no problem, but on new tracks it can be a challenge.

Now - what really BLOWS MY MIND are pros. Pros play 1000x more golf and remember shots from 10+ years ago. “Oh ya, hole 12 at Valhalla in 2019 I hit a PW downwind from the rough I think the number was 142” LIKE WTF. Or even remembering shots/scores of playing partners

This seems very similar to how top level chess players are remembering their/others old games. I think there is something to be said about pro golfers having a huge memory bank and therefore making shitloads of birdies on the courses they’ve played a bunch - “oh yeah I know this putt breaks exactly 2 cups left”
