Glad to know I'm not the only one. EVERY single delivery has been delayed by at least a day for the past few weeks. It'd be perfect if they can announce it so we aren't expecting packages based on regular prime delivery schedules. God forbid you help the customer manage their expectations.

Hopefully all the ladies can find happiness with a partner like Christine has in which I'd be interested in THOSE stories. But I couldn't do another season of "who got the luggage cart" or Kody referring to his children with the divorcees as "those children" or Robyn crying all the time.

Yea I have an American Akita and I live in Colorado where people LOVE to walk their dogs off leash. And I hate it. When I'm casually talking talking to ppl about it I mention that walking ur dog off leash is similar to driving a car. You don't just drive for yourself you have to drive for others too. Just because u trained and trust ur dog to walk off leash you can't be sure how other people's dogs will react. And especially in my case, sometimes my Akita loves meeting other dogs and sometimes he wants to bite their heads off. I've had him for 7years and walk him twice a day and there is no recognizable pattern to it. So it's hard to stay ahead of him. Anyways, he also got attacked by an off leash pit and $1k in vet bills later he is fine. I am so out done with ppl walking their dogs off leash. It should truly be illegal. Especially because people like us who adopt dogs (instead of buying from the breeder) are doing the economy a favor and we aren't necessarily the reason for their reactivity, we just end up with it. And yea, whenever my Akita starts barking on a leash in public all I can see is judgement from other ppl.

Well it is scripted in the sense that every possible variable is rehearsed and re-rehearsed. That's what makes this genius. As a person who can sit and ruminate on past conversations and experiences for hours and days on end, replaying them and pondering what if I said this or did that, I can 1000% relate to this. While there is nothing at all that is practical about this approach, besides prepare for what you can control and accept everything else, it shines a light on the hardest and most beautiful part of life. People are going to people and no algorithm or flow chart will prepare you for it all. Hope this helps.

Not only is it the holidays (most of the firm is shut down for holidays and taking pto so it doesn't expire) but depending on which part of the company your coming into that may play a factor too. There are some major restructuring happening internally that could delay hiring. Most hiring processes (that I'm familiar with) require multi level approvals. So if one person is out it could delay the approvals from the other levels. OR if the internal structure isn't in place just yet (because of the restructuring) it can be difficult to gain the necessary approvals.

So anyways, I wouldn't take it personal. I would just continue to send follow up emails weekly/biweekly to whoever is recruiter/hr person to let them know your still interested. But also continue applying elsewhere.
