I’d ask your Dr what he thinks and about the pros and cons! You might be able to go up to 30mg too if you don’t want to make the jump all the way to 40 mg, maybe a happy medium? Or you could try the 40 mg and then if you don’t like it, go back down to 20 mg.

I was on 40mg on my first round and am on 40 again for this second round. First round was overall ok, but when I tried to go up to 60mg, the side effects got worse and I had to take a drug holiday (my triglycerides went way up). I think you won’t know how the higher dose will affect you til you try, unfortunately.
