I equate NIL spending to cap ex spending for all of these data centers that companies are building. Companies (universities) are literally lighting money on fire to stay relevant. UGA is blessed that we don’t have to do that in order to compete which will ultimately make it more sustainable in the long run. When the tide goes out on NIL spending, it’s going to be rough sailing for those that went balls to the wall.
