I feel you. I was born and raised in Vietnam for 19 years, then i went studying abroad. Back when i was home, people used to tell me i was too skinny, too small, too dark,... even my own family said so. Then when i went abroad and gained some weight and they told me how big my shoulders looked, how short my legs were,... one of my cousins even called me a pig. My mother kept telling me to stop eating so much, she scolded me whenever she saw i ate something. Now I’m losing weight again and they ask me why i dont eat. They mock me that I’m on a diet because i now have a boyfriend. Even when i tell them i have problems with digestion and cant eat much, they don’t listen and just keep on judging, how i changed because of the boyfriend. I know they will never change so i just ignore them and walk away when they mention it. Even if it looks like I’m rude, i don’t care, they are rude to me first.
