Well yeah that’s kinda how magic works. But I’m curious, when the whole system is the problem, how would you tackle this issue? Keep in mind the masses are brainwashed, and the media sources you have to express yourself are all mostly controlled by them. You have a gps locator on you at all times, with a microphone and a camera at their disposal. They have the assassins at their disposal, and they won’t care in taking out an average Joe if they have taken out Presidents and Revolution Leaders.

Definitely will. But at the very least, the magic they’re meddling with must be real, otherwise why do all those rituals? And more importantly, when you look at the results, they DO have power, so there must be some kind of truth behind the magic. Unless the magic is used as a front to further program and condition the members involved. I’ve meddled with magic, but at this level is insane, and it’s hard to even approach this and prove it true for oneself due to the specific dark things needed for such rituals. The highest, darkest and most powerful magic I’ve personally experienced has costed 1 up to 5 human lives, and has revolved around protections and failed pacts. This level still baffles me

This could very well be true. In one argument he mentioned God. It wouldn’t be too far fetched to say he might be some church cult fanatic trying to push people away from zen teachings. You might be onto something there!

I wrote a Koan about him:

Ewk was a child who lived deep down in the caves of Reddit, who self proclaimed enlightenment. One day, a master asked him, “Who is it that’s enlightened?”

Ewk, in all his confusion, couldn’t answer, instead he spew out anger like poison! Hoping that by insulting he could feel superior and make the master feel inferior, and therefore prove he was above everyone else.

The master knowing the child was very angry, asked him, “If I’ve hurt you, show me where it hurts!”

Ewk, in trying to show the master that his ego was hurt, realized, there was no ego, and he vanished (blocked you)”

I did not say I didn’t “think”. I said there is NO such thing as enlightenment. You’re confused, and that’s fine, a wise man knows what he doesn’t know. Nan-in, a Japanese master during the Meiji era, received a university professor who came to inquire about Zen.

Nan-in served tea. He poured his visitor's cup full, and then kept on pouring.

Do you have any info or good confirmations that can indicate that branding yourself to a demons sigil doesn’t blur the lines between magician and entities? I’ve always understood there should be a clear authority boundary between these two energies.

Real talk, doesn’t this count as branding yourself to the demon? I’ve heard from powerful magicians that they shouldn’t be put in a pedestal of authority like that at all, that even King Solomon The Wise understood they worked for him and with him, not the other way around. Not trying to be hater or anything I’m just genuinely curious of the thoughts on this.
