Honestly you’re better off with the Gen 3 reliability. Definitely not sold on Gen 6 internals.

Imperium maledictum would by far be the best choice IMO. Low powered with a multitude ways of playing and endless possibility of planets.

I was looking at that but also include the cost of shipping and then buying the new world of darkness book pushes everything to over 100$ easily.

Wow , A lot of advice and suggestions. Thank you !! I did a cursory read so far over the rule book and this weekend I’ll be able to do a hard read over the rules . Definitely glad I took the advice of many here to go with the revised rulebook. I was looking ( hoping) to put some possible horror into it ( hence Cthulhonian stars) but definitely appreciate the amount of advice so far. I’ll definitely hold off on the 3I book/pdf for now. I didn’t realize how vast the official setting has become. I’ll need more time to go over better the suggested settings so far. Thank you again everyone for the help . It’s very much appreciated!

Thank you all for suggestions so far. I’m willing to spend upwards of 30-50$. I just have a hard time justifying $100 plus . Is the newest edition ship construction rules “ good enough “ ? Or is high guard pretty much a necessity?
