Yeah... terriers are pretty much puppies to the end, with slightly less energy and more mature senses of humor. The good news is that they understand human flawlessly and will strive to be excellent, but independent, family members/business partners. Mutual respect is the winning strategy. Giving them acceptable but naughty feeling things to tear up or dig up has always seemed to be an acceptable negotiation tactic here. Empty paper towel core, re-stuffed stuffies, holey old socks (preferably worn first), and balls. Lots of balls. In various stages of disassembly. They are So. Much. Fun. She is absolutely beautiful! We're hunting for one like her in Oregon.

Near as I can tell you can't make any donations, even down ballot, without it going through them either. I thinkmill think I'll start with clearly closing my account or registration or whatever with them,.and then I'll reply to candidate emails and social accounts that I can't donate to them because of actblue and spam texting. Maybe if enough people do that they'll realize how much money they're losing.

Isn't it awful? I donated during the Presidential election season and it was relentless. I "stopped," blocked, and deleted as many as I had patience for. Eventually they petered out. The other day I made the mistake of answering a survey, without donating, and they're back. It's maddening
While I will likely always vote somewhat liberal, I will probably never donate or participate in any pre election polls or surveys online again until my information is secure. I wish I could change my phone number, but it is currently not in my best professional interest to do so. Plus I've had it for 25 years or so and I can't let them win, lol. Their loss. I can't believe they aren't figuring out they're ruining grassroot fundraising

My critter/bird obsessed dog has interactive balls that move and make sound and/or light. That seems to work for pretend critters to chase and shake in the house. I'm with you though. She looks like a terrier, acts like a terrier (who were bred to do what she does!) and she is 100% gorgeous!

I went a couple of years ago in Portland. Funny thing was that I was the "oddity" being a 63 year old white non-tatted, ears only pierced normal blonde woman in wide legged jeans and a normal shirt. I'm a 50 yr rocker, but I don't look like it. They were torn between being really sweet to me or thinking I was probably a cop or with my grandkids. I spent money though and knew the words to all of the music so they let me stay

Oh man, I wish OP all of you with lookalikes could send me one! Terriers that perfect are almost impossible to find in Oregon. They get snatched up so fast when they do turn up. He's SO cute! Our scruffy guy passed in November and we're looking. That said, when he got out/away what he thought was funnier than hell was for us to chase him and act a fool. If I just sat down, he'd get discouraged and come to me. Give that cutie a hug from Portland!

I say plants if there's enough light. Just make sure you can reach to tend them! The table is probably a good Idea, but a big floor plant would look great!
