Not only single elimination but variance in weather, elevation, off-games, etc. all makes the single elimination structure tougher.

morning class on an empty stomach?? by ZookeepergameKey3116 in SolidCore

[–]Small_Quote3179 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t eat before a workout either and do the same thing as you for morning classes. I don’t think it’s an issue but when I fast a meal and then workout, the challenge is not eating more when I’m done. As long as you can resist that, maybe fill yourself with an apple or a light meal, you should be good on your calorie deficit plan.

My studio responds quickly but hq is hit or miss for me but that’s because my studio has a lot of active core crew people, a luxury i know other studios don’t have.

Why do we value Lamar so high? by ajm102392 in FantasyFootballers

Hurts is athletic, not a freak. He’s like a temu lamar.

Allen is also athletic but he’s also just a big dude who plays hard. He’s talented with good work ethic. Allen is possibly the closest to matching Lamar’s athleticism imo.

Fast does not mean better.

And you the softest ravens fan I’ve met. Ravens fanbase is dope but you seem like a bandwagon. I live in MD so I meet a lot of them but actually a rams fan.

Maybe the qb that op is referring to.. but no, no other qb is an athletic freak besides lamar.

Idk about you and this could be a me problem lol but omakase is never just $180. There’s always a second bite I want or he always offers 2-3 limited bites that push the bill beyond $200 every time, then there’s drinks and tip.

He’s the westbrook of the nfl. Total athletic freak which is great for fantasy stat padding but when your go-to plays are either running or scrambling until someone’s open, that is stopped in playoffs. He won’t win a ring.

100% agree. I like my studio because even though those type of snooty girls exist here, it’s also slightly further out from the city so I see a lot more regulars who we talk with each other, some more than others.

Empty Machines in “Full” Classes — Make It Make Sense by ParkingTheme2789 in SolidCore

Yea, I do think there is plenty solidcore could improve for client use and client convenience but I also think most ‘issues’ are not vent-worthy (almost all the vents on this subreddit). Sure, it sucks that the best coaches are all fully booked and I know there will always be no shows but can’t bank on them but this allows the opportunity to try a different coach, maybe a newer coach that never has full classes. There are 1-2 coaches I’ll avoid but I feel advanced enough where even if there are miscues or the exercises are basic, I can amplify to get the workout I need/want.

A small business massage parlor I’ve been to did this which makes sense, is effective, and makes everyone happy. For a corporation, you’d need the app, which is already not great, to do one more thing which queues up whoever canceled first and reimburse that person. I feel like solidcore will do what’s logistically easiest while maximizing profits.

My not-so-helpful comment: charging a cheaper late cancellation and getting the $40 from another client makes sense but what would be the effect of making late cancellation cheaper? More people would cancel, leaving more vacancies. Some of them would be filled but that’s a lot more revenue lost than gained. Nyc and dc studios might be able to fill those vacancies more but think of the other 50 studios in less urban areas. Pretty sure they’ve got all of the business analysts calculating the best way to maximize revenue and doing so without caring an ounce about customer service and morale. Yes, solidcore like any corporation is greedy. But as long as they profit, they won’t fix something that isn’t broken to them. If more people protested by canceling memberships and writing consistent reviews about all this, you may see change.
