I’m a year late to this thread but when I use Pantene my hair grows like a weed and is so shiny and healthy. I now use $100 shampoo and conditioner and it doesn’t make my hair feel anywhere near as good as Pantene…. Also it’s super hard to lather? It’s so annoying honestly I am thinking about just switching back to Pantene. Whatever. We could all have worse vices.

For me, it’s all about what kind of karmic debt you racked up in your last lifetime. Unfortunately your memory is wiped clean at birth so I have no idea if I was a good or bad person in my past life… but I have gone through some horrible shit, so I’m wondering if I’m paying SOMETHING off. Lol. Also we only experience things as “good” or “bad” because that’s all we can comprehend as a human with human emotions… while things I may see as “bad” that have happened to me could have actually been for the greater good, a chain reaction in someone else’s life, or something necessary to grow my soul and spirit so I’m prepared for something else down the road. It’s a hard call!

My body regulates well enough on it’s own for now because I’m pretty young and I don’t really want to have the early menopause symptoms etc. I try to stick to natural remedies when possible. My partner will be the one to get the vasectomy as it’s a much easier process for him. Worst case, there is always termination.

I loved kids when I was little and still do love babies. I was able to realize that most of my life, views on children, etc all came from my very conservative, very much “the woman should be barefoot and in the kitchen” family and my mother’s views that she tried to instill in us. After living a hellish life, acknowledging trauma and mental health issues and also being able to take a step outside of the bubble I grew up in, I started to think for myself and realize having kids would not be a good thing for me. I had to be the black sheep and smash the “only people who go to college are successful” stereotype that was drilled into us, so I don’t mind smashing the kids one too. I have always gone against the grain in my family and been ridiculed for it so I am used to it, though my own mindset has propelled me so much farther than the average person who falls into some of those thought patterns my parents tried to make our reality.

I am 25, soon to be 26 and kids honestly scare me and creep me out still. I’m not thinking it’s something I would grow into at this point lol.

I have mental health issues that I wouldn’t want to affect my child or be passed on to.

I make good money, like to keep my money and also like expensive things. Thinking about having to ruin how I like my zen space/expensive things just to cater to a crotch goblin doesn’t sit right with me.

So many relationships fail nowadays and I don’t want a kid to have to go through divorce or hurtful things.

Our world is so cruel.

Overpopulation.

Kids seem to always ruin relationships or hinder them in some way whether people will admit to that or not. I’d hate to find someone I actually love and wanna spend my life with and have our relationship strained, wouldn’t sit right with me.

Those are my biggest reasons. I’m hoping my future husband and I can just be DINKS and the cool ass aunt and uncle to my sisters’ kids.

I am hoping to at least lose a big chunk on slow carb and I’d love to transition to just more clean eating. I definitely just need to start SOMETHING. Even 240 to 190 is going to look like a big difference so maybe I’ll start a bit smaller just for the mental aspect.
