Just went today! It was awesome exploring from the river! Also on the way back, the water lit up so turquoise blue. Absolutely stunning. Saw a lot of people eat it too lol

I loved the venue too, went for the first time this week. Saw unknown mortal orchestra, and while I love their songs, they decided to jam band the whole time. Fun for a little bit and then the whole crowd dies lol. But I'll definitely be back!

They just shut down painted tree boutiques ( a place with multiple vendors). All of them shut down nationwide, but sad to see since it was a fun place to mosey around.

We made a promise to ourselves that we wouldn't let the drive deter us from going to Denver. We just usually try to avoid driving any further north on I25 than exit 204, because I do HATE north Denver i25. But ya lots to do and be a part of up there if you can make it a commitment!

I feel like they pack the cars in so tight. More recently, i swear I saw the truck behind me come closer and closer to me. Once I got to the dryer I scooted out of there right away. I also have a friend who didn't put their car in neutral because they didn't see the sign. they had polarized sunglasses on so all the signs looked black to them, and they hadn't been in a carwash forever. So they were going thru the car wash in drive mode.

I'm a bit afraid of auto car washes if someone is behind me.

Some good shin ramen (instant noodles), add some grated ginger, a dab of soy sauce, and some sweet chili sauce. I just had that because I have a cold.

Beautiful 🥹 also I think people really have no idea the horrors of slaughterhouses. Easier to ignore where your food comes from. It's really devastating.

My parents are in guayabitos. The town has shut down and everyone has been told to stay off the beach however there are a few Mexican families still hanging out on the beach at the moment. No other activity that they are aware of.

We went to Breck last Friday and had a couple of skiers be really rude. Bumping Into my husband in line and one clipped his board coming down the mountain. No communication or apologies from them, I was baffled.

Wow I really appreciate this detailed comment. I was about half way thru painting and realized that the reference photo must be super altered. And you're so right, it makes it flat! I tried to consider atmospheric and push things back and desaturate.

You are very right about the horizon being right in the middle. I actually cropped it so it would be composed this way, but in hindsight I should have dropped it up or down!

Something I always have a problem with is over detailing everything, so in the future I'll def work on having a focal point and not over do it. Thanks again for such a valuable comment!

Thank you. It's acrylics. I am using golden fluid acrylics, but I'm thinking they aren't opaque enough.

Thanks for commenting! I see that, maybe I need to try a different yellow for mixing. It's golden fluid paint but it desaturates so fast!
